NORCAT’s Working at Heights training programs provides workers in Ontario with the knowledge, skills and know-how to return home safe from work, all day, every day.

NORCAT’s roster of experienced trainers provide incomparable classroom experiences that prepare workers with the knowledge they need to keep themselves and their team safe on the job. Trainees will participate in practical, hands-on instruction including how to recognize fall hazards and how to correctly use fall protection equipment, and theoretical components, including how to cultivate a strong safety culture to eliminate injuries and fatalities in the workplace.

Working at Heights certification in Ontario valid for three years. Before your certificate expires, you can participate in a Working at Heights refresher course that is valid for an additional three years.
NORCAT does not offer Working at Heights online.

Get the training you need to work safely at heights from NORCAT’s industry-leading trainers.
The Working at Heights full-day program provides consistent quality training for workers required to work at heights. The curriculum and delivery is comprised of both theory and practical hands-on instruction under the direction of a qualified instructor. The theory and practical modules are compulsory for workers who use travel restraint systems, fall restricting systems, fall arrest protection systems or safety nets. Training is valid for 3 years.
Course Running Time: 7:30am - 3:00pm
In order for workers to maintain their validity of training, workers must successfully complete refresher training within 3 years of previous Working at Heights training. This Refresher program will reinforce key learning outcomes for workers and will also keep learners up-to-date on any legislative, regulatory or equipment changes which may impact working at heights in construction.
